Dental vacations

We have over the years had a large number of “dental tourists” staying with us here at Posada el Quijote, as we are located close to several of the main dentists in the Escazu area, as well as being close to dentists in the Sabana area of San Jose. We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere to ensure these stays are as pleasant as possible.

In order better cater to clients on longer term stays with us, including dental/medical tourists and others, we now offer lunch (1-2pm) and dinner services (6-7pm). There is a set daily menu, and the focus is primarily on healthy, light, and natural food. Around half of meals are vegetarian (lentils, beans, chick-peas based) with the remainder either being chicken or fish.

The price is 5,000 colones (US$9) per meal (+13% tax), and the dishes are normally served with a side salad and natural fruit juice. Please ask receptionist for more information, and to order (needs to be ordered in advance). (Note that although there are set daily meals, we can offer some flexibility but need to know in advance. Also let us know if you have any special needs, such as soft food only (for instance for dental patients)).

Pasta with tomato sauce and parmesan chees, served with side salad, fruit , and natural beetroot/watermelon juice.

White fish served with fried vegetables and mashed potatoes, fresh fruit, soup and fresh natural papaya juice.

Shrimp with fried vegetables, served with salad, plantains and fruit, and natural fruit juice.

Tilapia (fish) served with plantain, mashed potatoes, salad and fresh fruit, and a glass of natural cas fruit juice.
