10-Dec-2015: Solar water heaters installed!

We have finally installed solar water heaters! This means that we can disconnect the polluting gas fired system we have been using, and instead rely on on-site produced solar heated water.

 

During the wet season, or on other cloudy days, if there is not sufficient sunlight to heat the water, an electric heater will kick in, ensuring all our clients have warm showers.

This greatly helps to lower our environmental footprint, as heating water is very energy intense. We do, however, recommend clients to still continue to work with us to further limit our environmental footprint by minimising water use.
